KitchenAid Refrigerator Repair
Kitchen Aid Refrigerator: Model #KSSC42QMS00
KitchenAid refrigerator never cycles off
The refrigerator will run consistently until the set temperature has been reached. If the refrigerator reaches the set temperature but does not cycle off on its own then the thermostat is probably defective, this is what cycles the refrigerator on and off. The thermostat would need to be replaced because it cannot be repaired.
If the thermostat is not bad, then it may be a problem with the sealed system and this repair would need to be done by a qualified repair technician.

Condenser fan motor is not running properly
Sometimes these refrigerators have the condenser fan wired through the compressor, meaning that if the compressor is on, the condenser fan motor is always going to be on. Or they will have a separate relay on a control board (part # 2252159) to fire up the condenser motor (part # W10124096).
There's the main control board (part # 2252159) and there's a power supply board (part # 2259350), which are normally connected with a harness. The main control is the switching center where all the relays are at. It could be that the main control board is not telling the fan to come on.
You may end up replacing both the control board and the relay board. You could have an intermittent signal, and the only way to tell is to see if you're getting the signal from one board to the other and then from the relay board to the component. At times, the connecting wiring and/or ribbon could have a crack or a flaw in it that could cause that too, so people have replaced both boards and it still doesn't work, meaning you've got a bad connecting ribbon.
