Problem:
Running but not cooling properly
Solution:
If your Kenmore refrigerator is blowing cold air then the compressor is running. The problem might be caused
by one of the fan motors not
turning on. Also, there might be a defrost problem - meaning that the unit is
not self defrosting and that there is an air flow restriction.
The defrost system is made up of three parts: the defrost timer, the defrost thermostat, and the
defrost heater. If one
of these parts is defective then the refrigerator will not cool properly.
