Problem:
Burn holes in the heating element
Solution:
If there is a burn hole in one of the heating elements in the
oven, the oven will not heat properly or at all. The burn hole can cause a
break in continuity in the element causing it not to work. The heating element
cannot be fixed, it will need to be replaced.
The element on the oven floor is the bake element and the one mounted to the oven ceiling is the broil element.
